At Tariq Ayah 16

وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا ١٦ but I too am planning.

At Tariq Ayah 17

فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدَۢا ١٧ So bear with the disbelievers ?O Prophet?. Let them be for ?just? a little while.

Al A’la Ayah 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ١ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,

Al A’la Ayah 2

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ٢ Who created and ?perfectly? fashioned ?all?,

Al A’la Ayah 3

وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ٣ and Who ordained precisely and inspired accordingly,

Al A’la Ayah 4

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ ٤ and Who brings forth ?green? pasture,

Al A’la Ayah 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ ٥ then reduces it to withered chaff.

Al A’la Ayah 6

سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ ٦ We will have you recite ?the Quran, O Prophet,? so you will not forget ?any of it?,

Al A’la Ayah 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ٧ unless Allah wills otherwise. He surely knows what is open and what is hidden.

Al A’la Ayah 8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ٨ We will facilitate for you the Way of Ease.

Al A’la Ayah 9

فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ ٩ So ?always? remind ?with the Quran?—?even? if the reminder is beneficial ?only to some?.

Al A’la Ayah 10

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ ١٠ Those in awe ?of Allah? will be mindful ?of it?.

Al A’la Ayah 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى ١١ But it will be shunned by the most wretched,

Al A’la Ayah 12

ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ١٢ who will burn in the greatest Fire,

Al A’la Ayah 13

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ١٣ where they will not ?be able to? live or die.

Al A’la Ayah 14

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ١٤ Successful indeed are those who purify themselves,

Al A’la Ayah 15

وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ ١٥ remember the Name of their Lord, and pray.

Al A’la Ayah 16

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٲةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ١٦ But you ?deniers only? prefer the life of this world,

Al A’la Ayah 17

وَٱلْأَخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ١٧ even though the Hereafter is far better and more lasting.

Al A’la Ayah 18

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ١٨ This is certainly ?mentioned? in the earlier Scriptures—

Al A’la Ayah 19

صُحُفِ إِبْرَٲهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ ١٩ the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses.

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 1

هَلْ أَتَـٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَـٰشِيَةِ ١ Has the news of the Overwhelming Event reached you ?O Prophet??

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 2

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَـٰشِعَةٌ ٢ On that Day ?some? faces will be downcast,

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 3

عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ ٣ ?totally? overburdened, exhausted,

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 4

تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً ٤ burning in a scorching Fire,

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 5

تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍ ٥ left to drink from a scalding spring.

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 6

لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ ٦ They will have no food except a foul, thorny shrub,

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 7

لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍ ٧ neither nourishing nor satisfying hunger.

Al Ghashiyah Ayah 8

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ ٨ On that Day ?other? faces will be glowing with bliss,

Al Humazah Ayah 2

ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالاً وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ٢ who amasses wealth ?greedily? and counts it ?repeatedly?,

Al Humazah Ayah 3

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ٣ thinking that their wealth will make them immortal!

Al Humazah Ayah 4

كَلَّا‌ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ٤ Not at all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher.

Al Humazah Ayah 5

وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ٥ And what will make you realize what the Crusher is?

Al Humazah Ayah 6

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ٦ ?It is? Allah’s kindled Fire,

Al Humazah Ayah 7

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْــِٔدَةِ ٧ which rages over the hearts.

Al Humazah Ayah 8

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ٨ It will be sealed over them,

Al Humazah Ayah 9

فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ٩ ?tightly secured? with long braces.

Al Fil Ayah 1

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ ١ Have you not seen ?O Prophet? how your Lord dealt with the Army of the Elephant?

Al Fil Ayah 2

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ ٢ Did He not frustrate their scheme?

Al Fil Ayah 3

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ٣ For He sent against them flocks of birds,

Al Fil Ayah 4

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٤ that pelted them with stones of baked clay,

Al Fil Ayah 5

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولِۭ ٥ leaving them like chewed up straw.

Quraysh Ayah 1

لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ ١ ?At least? for ?the favour of? making Quraysh habitually secure—

Quraysh Ayah 2

إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ ٢ secure in their trading caravan ?to Yemen? in the winter and ?Syria? in the summer—

Quraysh Ayah 3

فَلْيَعْبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ ٣ let them worship the Lord of this ?Sacred? House,

Quraysh Ayah 4

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفِۭ ٤ Who has fed them against hunger and made them secure against fear.

Al Ma’un Ayah 1

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ١ Have you seen the one who denies the ?final? Judgment?

Al Ma’un Ayah 2

فَذَٲلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ٢ That is the one who repulses the orphan,

Al Ma’un Ayah 3

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ٣ and does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

Al Ma’un Ayah 4

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ٤ So woe to those ?hypocrites? who pray

Al Ma’un Ayah 5

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ٥ yet are unmindful of their prayers;

Al Ma’un Ayah 6

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ٦ those who ?only? show off,

Al Ma’un Ayah 7

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ٧ and refuse to give ?even the simplest? aid.

Al Kawthar Ayah 1

إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ ١ Indeed, We have granted you ?O Prophet? abundant goodness.

Al Kawthar Ayah 2

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ ٢ So pray and sacrifice to your Lord ?alone?.

Al Kawthar Ayah 3

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ ٣ Only the one who hates you is truly cut off ?from any goodness?.

Al Kafirun Ayah 1

قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ ١ Say, ?O Prophet,? “O you disbelievers!

Al Kafirun Ayah 2

لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ ٢ I do not worship what you worship,

Al Kafirun Ayah 3

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ٣ nor do you worship what I worship.

Al Kafirun Ayah 4

وَلَآ أَنَا۟ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ ٤ I will never worship what you worship,

Al Kafirun Ayah 5

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ٥ nor will you ever worship what I worship.

Al Kafirun Ayah 6

لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ ٦ You have your way, and I have my Way.”

An Nasr Ayah 1

إِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْفَتْحُ ١ When Allah’s ?ultimate? help comes and the victory ?over Mecca is achieved?,

An Nasr Ayah 2

وَرَأَيْتَ ٱلنَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِى دِينِ ٱللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا ٢ and you ?O Prophet? see the people embracing Allah’s Way in crowds,

An Nasr Ayah 3

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْهُ‌ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابَۢا ٣ then glorify the praises of your Lord and seek His forgiveness, for certainly He is ever Accepting of Repentance.

Al Masad Ayah 2

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ ٢ Neither his wealth nor ?worldly? gains will benefit him.

Al Masad Ayah 1

تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ١ May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he ?himself? perish!

Al Masad Ayah 3

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ٣ He will burn in a flaming Fire,

Al Masad Ayah 4

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ ٤ and ?so will? his wife, the carrier of ?thorny? kindling,

Al Masad Ayah 5

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ ٥ around her neck will be a rope of palm-fibre.

Al Ikhlas Ayah 1

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ١ Say, ?O Prophet,? “He is Allah, One ?and Indivisible?;

Al Ikhlas Ayah 2

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ ٢ Allah—the Sustainer ?needed by all?.

Al Balad Ayah 2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٢ even though you ?O Prophet? are subject to abuse in this city—

Al Balad Ayah 1

لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ١ I do swear by this city ?of Mecca?—

Al Balad Ayah 3

وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ ٣ and by every parent and ?their? child!

Al Balad Ayah 4

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِى كَبَدٍ ٤ Indeed, We have created humankind in ?constant? struggle.

Al Balad Ayah 5

أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ ٥ Do they think that no one has power over them,

Al Balad Ayah 6

يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالاً لُّبَدًا ٦ boasting, “I have wasted enormous wealth!”?

Al Balad Ayah 7

أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّمْ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ ٧ Do they think that no one sees them?

Al Balad Ayah 8

أَلَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عَيْنَيْنِ ٨ Have We not given them two eyes,

Al Balad Ayah 9

وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ ٩ a tongue, and two lips;

Al Balad Ayah 10

وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ ١٠ and shown them the two ways ?of right and wrong??

Al Balad Ayah 11

فَلَا ٱقْتَحَمَ ٱلْعَقَبَةَ ١١ If only they had attempted the challenging path ?of goodness instead?!

Al Balad Ayah 12

وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلْعَقَبَةُ ١٢ And what will make you realize what ?attempting? the challenging path is?

Al Balad Ayah 13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ ١٣ It is to free a slave,

Al Balad Ayah 14

أَوْ إِطْعَـٰمٌ فِى يَوْمٍ ذِى مَسْغَبَةٍ ١٤ or to give food in times of famine

Al Balad Ayah 15

يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ ١٥ to an orphaned relative

Al Balad Ayah 16

أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ ١٦ or to a poor person in distress,

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلْمَرْحَمَةِ ١٧ and—above all—to be one of those who have faith and urge each other to perseverance and urge each other to compassion.

Al Balad Ayah 18

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ ١٨ These are the people of the right.

Al Balad Ayah 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَشْــَٔمَةِ ١٩ As for those who deny Our signs, they are the people of the left.

Al Balad Ayah 20

عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌ مُّؤْصَدَةُۢ ٢٠ The Fire will be sealed over them.

Ash Shams Ayah 1

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَـٰهَا ١ By the sun and its brightness,

Ash Shams Ayah 2

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَـٰهَا ٢ and the moon as it follows it,

Ash Shams Ayah 3

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّـٰهَا ٣ and the day as it unveils it,

Ash Shams Ayah 4

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَـٰهَا ٤ and the night as it conceals it!

Ash Shams Ayah 5

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَـٰهَا ٥ And by heaven and ?the One? Who built it,

Ash Shams Ayah 6

وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَـٰهَا ٦ and the earth and ?the One? Who spread it!

Ash Shams Ayah 7

وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّٮٰهَا ٧ And by the soul and ?the One? Who fashioned it,

Ash Shams Ayah 8

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَٮٰهَا ٨ then with ?the knowledge of? right and wrong inspired it!

Ash Shams Ayah 9

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّـٰهَا ٩ Successful indeed is the one who purifies their soul,

Ash Shams Ayah 10

وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّـٰهَا ١٠ and doomed is the one who corrupts it!

Ash Shams Ayah 11

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَٮٰهَآ ١١ Thamûd rejected ?the truth? out of arrogance,

Ash Shams Ayah 12

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَـٰهَا ١٢ when the most wicked of them was roused ?to kill the she-camel?.

Ash Shams Ayah 13

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَـٰهَا ١٣ But the messenger of Allah warned them, “?Do not disturb? Allah’s camel and her ?turn to? drink!”

Ash Shams Ayah 14

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّٮٰهَا ١٤ Still they defied him and slaughtered her. So their Lord crushed them for their crime, levelling all to the ground.

Ash Shams Ayah 15

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَـٰهَا ١٥ He has no fear of consequences.

Al Layl Ayah 1

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ ١ By the night when it covers,

Al Layl Ayah 2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ ٢ and the day when it shines!

Al Layl Ayah 3

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ ٣ And by ?the One? Who created male and female!

Al Layl Ayah 4

إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ ٤ Surely the ends you strive for are diverse.

Al Layl Ayah 5

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ ٥ As for the one who is charitable, mindful ?of Allah?,

Al Layl Ayah 6

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ٦ and ?firmly? believes in the finest reward,

Al Layl Ayah 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ٧ We will facilitate for them the Way of Ease.

Al Layl Ayah 8

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ ٨ And as for the one who is stingy, indifferent ?to Allah?,

Al Layl Ayah 9

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ٩ and ?staunchly? denies the finest reward,

Al Layl Ayah 10

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ ١٠ We will facilitate for them the path of hardship.

Al Layl Ayah 11

وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ ١١ And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ?into Hell?.

Al Layl Ayah 12

إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ ١٢ It is certainly upon Us ?alone? to show ?the way to? guidance.

Al Layl Ayah 13

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْأَخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ ١٣ And surely to Us ?alone? belong this life and the next.

Al Layl Ayah 14

فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ ١٤ And so I have warned you of a raging Fire,

Al Layl Ayah 15

لَا يَصْلَـٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى ١٥ in which none will burn except the most wretched—

Al Layl Ayah 16

ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ١٦ who deny and turn away.

Al Layl Ayah 17

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى ١٧ But the righteous will be spared from it—

Al Layl Ayah 18

ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ ١٨ who donate ?some of? their wealth only to purify themselves,

Al Layl Ayah 19

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ ١٩ not in return for someone’s favours,

Al Layl Ayah 20

إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ٢٠ but seeking the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High.

Al Layl Ayah 21

وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ ٢١ They will certainly be pleased.

Ad Duha Ayah 1

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ١ By the morning sunlight,

Ad Duha Ayah 2

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ٢ and the night when it falls still!

Ad Duha Ayah 3

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ٣ Your Lord ?O Prophet? has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ?of you?.

Ad Duha Ayah 4

وَلَلْأَخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ٤ And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.

Ad Duha Ayah 5

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ٥ And ?surely? your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased.

Ad Duha Ayah 6

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔـاوَىٰ ٦ Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?

Ad Duha Ayah 7

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلاًّ فَهَدَىٰ ٧ Did He not find you unguided then guided you?

Ad Duha Ayah 8

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلاً فَأَغْنَىٰ ٨ And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs?

Ad Duha Ayah 9

فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ٩ So do not oppress the orphan,

Ad Duha Ayah 10

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ١٠ nor repulse the beggar.

Ad Duha Ayah 11

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ١١ And proclaim the blessings of your Lord.

Ash Sharh Ayah 1

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ١ Have We not uplifted your heart for you ?O Prophet?,

Ash Sharh Ayah 2

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ ٢ relieved you of the burden

Ash Sharh Ayah 3

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ٣ which weighed so heavily on your back,

Ash Sharh Ayah 4

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ٤ and elevated your renown for you?

Ash Sharh Ayah 5

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٥ So, surely with hardship comes ease.

Ash Sharh Ayah 6

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٦ Surely with ?that? hardship comes ?more? ease.

Ash Sharh Ayah 7

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ ٧ So once you have fulfilled ?your duty?, strive ?in devotion?,

Ash Sharh Ayah 8

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب ٨ turning to your Lord ?alone? with hope.

At Tin Ayah 1

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ ١ By the fig and the olive ?of Jerusalem?,

At Tin Ayah 2

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ٢ and Mount Sinai,

At Tin Ayah 3

وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ٣ and this secure city ?of Mecca?!

At Tin Ayah 4

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ٤ Indeed, We created humans in the best form.

At Tin Ayah 5

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ ٥ But We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ?in Hell?,

At Tin Ayah 6

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ٦ except those who believe and do good—they will have a never-ending reward.

At Tin Ayah 7

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ٧ Now, what makes you deny the ?final? Judgment?

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 1

ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ١ Read, ?O Prophet,? in the Name of your Lord Who created—

At Tin Ayah 8

أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ ٨ Is Allah not the most just of all judges?

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 2

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ ٢ created humans from a clinging clot.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 3

ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٣ Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous,

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 4

ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ ٤ Who taught by the pen—

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ٥ taught humanity what they knew not.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 6

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ ٦ Most certainly, one exceeds all bounds

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 7

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰٓ ٧ once they think they are self-sufficient.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 8

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ ٨ ?But? surely to your Lord is the return ?of all?.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 9

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ ٩ Have you seen the man who prevents

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 12

أَوْ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقْوَىٰٓ ١٢ or encourages righteousness?

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 11

أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ١١ What if this ?servant? is ?rightly? guided,

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 10

عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ ١٠ a servant ?of Ours? from praying?

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 13

أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ ١٣ What if that ?man? persists in denial and turns away?

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 14

أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ ١٤ Does he not know that Allah sees ?all??

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 15

كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ ١٥ But no! If he does not desist, We will certainly drag him by the forelock—

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 16

نَاصِيَةٍ كَـٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ ١٦ a lying, sinful forelock.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 17

فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ ١٧ So let him call his associates.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 18

سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ ١٨ We will call the wardens of Hell.

Al ‘Alaq Ayah 19

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب ۩ ١٩ Again, no! Never obey him ?O Prophet?! Rather, ?continue to? prostrate and draw near ?to Allah?.

Al Qadr Ayah 1

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ١ Indeed, ?it is? We ?Who? sent this ?Quran? down on the Night of Glory.

Al Qadr Ayah 2

وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ٢ And what will make you realize what the Night of Glory is?

Al Qadr Ayah 3

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ٣ The Night of Glory is better than a thousand months.

Al Qadr Ayah 4

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ٤ That night the angels and the ?holy? spirit descend, by the permission of their Lord, for every ?decreed? matter.

Al Qadr Ayah 5

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ ٥ It is all peace until the break of dawn.

Al Bayyinah Ayah 1

لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ ١ The disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists were not going to desist ?from disbelief? until the clear proof came to them:

Al Bayyinah Ayah 2

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُواْ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً ٢ a messenger from Allah, reciting scrolls of ?utmost? purity,

Al Bayyinah Ayah 3

فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ ٣ containing upright commandments.

Al Bayyinah Ayah 4

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ ٤ It was not until this clear proof came to the People of the Book that they became divided ?about his prophethood?—

Al Bayyinah Ayah 5

وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٲةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٲةَ‌ۚ وَذَٲلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ ٥ even though they were only commanded to worship Allah ?alone? with sincere devotion to Him in all uprightness, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. That is the upright Way.

Al Bayyinah Ayah 6

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ‌ۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ ٦ Indeed, those who disbelieve from the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell, to stay there forever. They are the worst of ?all? beings.

Al Bayyinah Ayah 7

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ ٧ Indeed, those who believe and do good—they are the best of ?all? beings.

Al Bayyinah Ayah 8

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا‌ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ ٨ Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eternity, under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is ?only? for those in awe of their Lord.
