- Al Insan Ayah 1هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْــًٔا مَّذْكُورًا ١ Is there not a period of time when each human is nothing yet worth mentioning?
- Al Insan Ayah 2إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا ٢ ?For? indeed, We ?alone? created humans from a drop of mixed fluids, ?in order? to test them, so We made them hear and see.
- Al Insan Ayah 3إِنَّا هَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ٣ We already showed them the Way, whether they ?choose to? be grateful or ungrateful.
- Al Insan Ayah 4إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ سَلَـٰسِلَاْ وَأَغْلَـٰلاً وَسَعِيرًا ٤ Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains, shackles, and a blazing Fire.
- Al Insan Ayah 5إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا ٥ Indeed, the virtuous will have a drink ?of pure wine?—flavoured with camphor—
- Al Insan Ayah 6عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا ٦ ?from? a spring where Allah’s servants will drink, flowing at their will.
- Al Insan Ayah 7يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيرًا ٧ They ?are those who? fulfil ?their? vows and fear a Day of sweeping horror,
- Al Insan Ayah 8وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا ٨ and give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive,
- Al Insan Ayah 9إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا ٩ ?saying to themselves,? “We feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you.
- Al Insan Ayah 10إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا ١٠ We fear from our Lord a horribly distressful Day.”
- Al Insan Ayah 11فَوَقَـٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٲلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّـٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا ١١ So Allah will deliver them from the horror of that Day, and grant them radiance and joy,
- Al Insan Ayah 12وَجَزَٮٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا ١٢ and reward them for their perseverance with a Garden ?in Paradise? and ?garments of? silk.
- Al Insan Ayah 13مُّتَّكِــِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا ١٣ There they will be reclining on ?canopied? couches, never seeing scorching heat or bitter cold.
- Al Insan Ayah 14وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَـٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلاً ١٤ The Garden’s shade will be right above them, and its fruit will be made very easy to reach.
- Al Insan Ayah 15وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔـانِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۟ ١٥ They will be waited on with silver vessels and cups of crystal—
- Al Insan Ayah 16قَوَارِيرَاْ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا ١٦ crystalline silver, filled precisely as desired.
- Al Insan Ayah 17وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلاً ١٧ And they will be given a drink ?of pure wine? flavoured with ginger
- Al Insan Ayah 18عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلاً ١٨ from a spring there, called Salsabîl.
- Al Insan Ayah 19۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٲنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا ١٩ They will be waited on by eternal youths. If you saw them, you would think they were scattered pearls.
- Al Insan Ayah 20وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا ٢٠ And if you looked around, you would see ?indescribable? bliss and a vast kingdom.
- Al Insan Ayah 21عَـٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَـٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا ٢١ The virtuous will be ?dressed? in garments of fine green silk and rich brocade, and adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.
- Al Insan Ayah 22إِنَّ هَـٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا ٢٢ ?And they will be told,? “All this is surely a reward for you. Your striving has been appreciated.”
- Al Insan Ayah 23إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلاً ٢٣ Indeed, it is We Who have revealed the Quran to you ?O Prophet? in stages.
- Al Insan Ayah 24فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا ٢٤ So be patient with your Lord’s decree, and do not yield to any evildoer or ?staunch? disbeliever from among them.
- Al Insan Ayah 25وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلاً ٢٥ ?Always? remember the Name of your Lord morning and evening,
- Al Insan Ayah 26وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلاً طَوِيلاً ٢٦ and prostrate before Him during part of the night, and glorify Him long at night.
- Al Insan Ayah 27إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلاً ٢٧ Surely those ?pagans? love this fleeting world, ?totally? neglecting a weighty Day ahead of them.
- Al Insan Ayah 28نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلاً ٢٨ It is We Who created them and perfected their ?physical? form. But if We will, We can easily replace them with others.
- Al Insan Ayah 29إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلاً ٢٩ Surely this is a reminder. So let whoever wills take the ?Right? Way to their Lord.
- Al Insan Ayah 30وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ٣٠ But you cannot will ?to do so? unless Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
- Al Insan Ayah 31يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمَۢا ٣١ He admits whoever He wills into His mercy. As for the wrongdoers, He has prepared for them a painful punishment
الانسان which is spelled Surah Al Insan in english has meaning Man is placed at number 76 in the Quran. This surah that contains 31 number of ayah, started on page 578 & ends on page 580 in the Holy Quran.
الانسان is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 98 in the order of Quran revelation.
