- As Saff Ayah 1سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ١ Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies Allah. For He ?alone? is the Almighty, All-Wise.
- As Saff Ayah 2يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٢ O believers! Why do you say what you do not do?
- As Saff Ayah 3كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٣ How despicable it is in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do!
- As Saff Ayah 4إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنْيَـٰنٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ ٤ Surely Allah loves those who fight in His cause in ?solid? ranks as if they were one concrete structure.
- As Saff Ayah 5وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ ٥ ?Remember, O Prophet,? when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Why do you hurt me when you already know I am Allah’s messenger to you?” So when they ?persistently? deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate. For Allah does not guide the rebellious people.
- As Saff Ayah 6وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَـٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ إِنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَٮٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرَۢا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِى ٱسْمُهُۥٓ أَحْمَدُۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ قَالُواْ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٦ And ?remember? when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O children of Israel! I am truly Allah’s messenger to you, confirming the Torah which came before me, and giving good news of a messenger after me whose name will be A?mad.” Yet when the Prophet came to them with clear proofs, they said, “This is pure magic.”
- As Saff Ayah 7وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ٧ Who does more wrong than the one who fabricates lies about Allah when invited to submit ?to Him?? For Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
- As Saff Ayah 8يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِــُٔواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٲهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ ٨ They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah will ?certainly? perfect His light, even to the dismay of the disbelievers.
- As Saff Ayah 9هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ ٩ He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ?true? guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.
- As Saff Ayah 10يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَـٰرَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ١٠ O believers! Shall I guide you to an exchange that will save you from a painful punishment?
- As Saff Ayah 11تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٲلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْۚ ذَٲلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ١١ ?It is to? have faith in Allah and His Messenger, and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if only you knew.
- As Saff Ayah 12يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ وَمَسَـٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍۚ ذَٲلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ١٢ He will forgive your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and ?house you in? splendid homes in the Gardens of Eternity. That is the ultimate triumph.
- As Saff Ayah 13وَأُخْرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَاۖ نَصْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ١٣ ?He will also give you? another favour that you long for: help from Allah and an imminent victory. ?So? give good news ?O Prophet? to the believers.
- As Saff Ayah 14يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُوٓاْ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّــۧنَ مَنْ أَنصَارِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِۖ فَـَٔـامَنَت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّآئِفَةٌۖ فَأَيَّدْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُواْ ظَـٰهِرِينَ ١٤ O believers! Stand up for Allah, as Jesus, son of Mary, asked the disciples, “Who will stand up with me for Allah?” The disciples replied, “We will stand up for Allah.” Then a group from the Children of Israel believed while another disbelieved. We then supported the believers against their enemies, so they prevailed.
الصف which is spelled Surah As Saff in english has meaning The Ranks is placed at number 61 in the Quran. This surah that contains 14 number of ayah, started on page 551 & ends on page 552 in the Holy Quran.
