- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 1وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ ١ Woe to the defrauders!
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 2ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ ٢ Those who take full measure ?when they buy? from people,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 3وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ ٣ but give less when they measure or weigh for buyers.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 4أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ ٤ Do such people not think that they will be resurrected
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 5لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ٥ for a tremendous Day—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 6يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٦ the Day ?all? people will stand before the Lord of all worlds?
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 7كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍ ٧ But no! The wicked are certainly bound for Sijjîn ?in the depths of Hell?—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 8وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ ٨ and what will make you realize what Sijjîn is?—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 9كِتَـٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٩ a fate ?already? sealed.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 10وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٠ Woe on that Day to the deniers—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 11ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ١١ those who deny Judgment Day!
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 12وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ١٢ None would deny it except every evildoing transgressor.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 13إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ١٣ Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they say, “Ancient fables!”
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 14كَلَّاۖ بَلْۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ ١٤ But no! In fact, their hearts have been stained by all ?the evil? they used to commit!
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 15كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ ١٥ Undoubtedly, they will be sealed off from their Lord on that Day.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 16ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُواْ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ١٦ Moreover, they will surely burn in Hell,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 17ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ١٧ and then be told, “This is what you used to deny.”
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 18كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ ١٨ But no! The virtuous are certainly bound for ’Illiyûn ?in elevated Gardens?—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 19وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ ١٩ and what will make you realize what ’Illiyûn is?—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 20كِتَـٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٢٠ a fate ?already? sealed,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 21يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ ٢١ witnessed by those nearest ?to Allah?.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 22إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ ٢٢ Surely the virtuous will be in bliss,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 23عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ٢٣ ?seated? on ?canopied? couches, gazing around.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 24تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٢٤ You will recognize on their faces the glow of delight.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 25يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ ٢٥ They will be given a drink of sealed, pure wine,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 26خِتَـٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌۚ وَفِى ذَٲلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَـٰفِسُونَ ٢٦ whose last sip will smell like musk. So let whoever aspires to this strive ?diligently?.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 27وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ ٢٧ And this drink’s flavour will come from Tasnîm—
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 28عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ ٢٨ a spring from which those nearest ?to Allah? will drink.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 29إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضْحَكُونَ ٢٩ Indeed, the wicked used to laugh at the believers,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 30وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ ٣٠ wink to one another whenever they passed by,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 31وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ ٣١ and muse ?over these exploits? upon returning to their own people.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 32وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ ٣٢ And when they saw the faithful, they would say, “These ?people? are truly astray,”
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 33وَمَآ أُرْسِلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ حَـٰفِظِينَ ٣٣ even though they were not sent as keepers over the believers.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 34فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ ٣٤ But on that Day the believers will be laughing at the disbelievers,
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 35عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ٣٥ as they sit on ?canopied? couches, looking on.
- Al Mutaffifin Ayah 36هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ ٣٦ ?The believers will be asked,? “Have the disbelievers ?not? been paid back for what they used to do?”
المطففين which is spelled Surah Al Mutaffifin in english has meaning Defrauding is placed at number 83 in the Quran. This surah that contains 36 number of ayah, started on page 587 & ends on page 589 in the Holy Quran.
المطففين is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 86 in the order of Quran revelation.
