- Al Haqqah Ayah 1ٱلْحَآقَّةُ ١ The Inevitable Hour!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 2مَا ٱلْحَآقَّةُ ٢ What is the Inevitable Hour?
- Al Haqqah Ayah 3وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلْحَآقَّةُ ٣ And what will make you realize what the Inevitable Hour is?
- Al Haqqah Ayah 4كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ ٤ ?Both? Thamûd and ’?d denied the Striking Disaster.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 5فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ ٥ As for Thamûd, they were destroyed by an overwhelming blast.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 6وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُواْ بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ ٦ And as for ’?d, they were destroyed by a furious, bitter wind
- Al Haqqah Ayah 7سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَـٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى ٱلْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ ٧ which Allah unleashed on them non-stop for seven nights and eight days, so that you would have seen its people lying dead like trunks of uprooted palm trees.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 8فَهَلْ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٍ ٨ Do you see any of them left alive?
- Al Haqqah Ayah 9وَجَآءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَن قَبْلَهُۥ وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتُ بِٱلْخَاطِئَةِ ٩ Also, Pharaoh and those before him, and ?the people of? the overturned cities ?of Lot? indulged in sin,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 10فَعَصَوْاْ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً ١٠ each disobeying their Lord’s messenger, so He seized them with a crushing grip.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 11إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَـٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ ١١ Indeed, when the floodwater had overflowed, We carried you in the floating Ark ?with Noah?,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 12لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌ وَٲعِيَةٌ ١٢ so that We may make this a reminder to you, and that attentive ears may grasp it.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 13فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ وَٲحِدَةٌ ١٣ At last, when the Trumpet will be blown with one blast,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 14وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَٱلْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَٲحِدَةً ١٤ and the earth and mountains will be lifted up and crushed with one blow,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 15فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ ١٥ on that Day the Inevitable Event will have come to pass.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 16وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِىَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ ١٦ The sky will then be so torn that it will be frail,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 17وَٱلْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرْجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَـٰنِيَةٌ ١٧ with the angels on its sides. On that Day eight ?mighty angels? will bear the Throne of your Lord above them.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 18يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ ١٨ You will then be presented ?before Him for judgment?, and none of your secrets will stay hidden.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 19فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ ٱقْرَءُواْ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ ١٩ As for those given their records in their right hand, they will cry ?happily?, “Here ?everyone?! Read my record!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 20إِنِّى ظَنَنتُ أَنِّى مُلَـٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهْ ٢٠ I surely knew I would face my reckoning.”
- Al Haqqah Ayah 21فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ٢١ They will be in a life of bliss,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 22فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ ٢٢ in an elevated Garden,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 23قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ ٢٣ whose fruit will hang within reach.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 25وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ ٢٥ And as for those given their record in their left hand, they will cry ?bitterly?, “I wish I had not been given my record,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 24كُلُواْ وَٱشْرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـــَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْخَالِيَةِ ٢٤ ?They will be told,? “Eat and drink joyfully for what you did in the days gone by.”
- Al Haqqah Ayah 26وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ ٢٦ nor known anything of my reckoning!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 27يَـٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ ٢٧ I wish death was the end!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 28مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّى مَالِيَهْۜ ٢٨ My wealth has not benefited me!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 29هَلَكَ عَنِّى سُلْطَـٰنِيَهْ ٢٩ My authority has been stripped from me.”
- Al Haqqah Ayah 30خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ ٣٠ ?It will be said,? “Seize and shackle them,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 31ثُمَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ ٣١ then burn them in Hell,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 32ثُمَّ فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَٱسْلُكُوهُ ٣٢ then tie them up with chains seventy arms long.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 33إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٣٣ For they never had faith in Allah, the Greatest,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 36وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ ٣٦ nor any food except ?oozing? pus,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 35فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ هَـٰهُنَا حَمِيمٌ ٣٥ So this Day they will have no close friend here,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 34وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ٣٤ nor encouraged the feeding of the poor.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 37لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَـٰطِــُٔونَ ٣٧ which none will eat except the evildoers.”
- Al Haqqah Ayah 38فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ ٣٨ Now, I do swear by whatever you see,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 39وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ ٣٩ and whatever you cannot see!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 40إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ ٤٠ Indeed, this ?Quran? is the recitation of a noble Messenger.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 41وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍۚ قَلِيلاً مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ ٤١ It is not the prose of a poet ?as you claim?, ?yet? you hardly have any faith.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 42وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍۚ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٢ Nor is it the mumbling of a fortune-teller, ?yet? you are hardly mindful.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 43تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٤٣ ?It is? a revelation from the Lord of all worlds.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 44وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ ٤٤ Had the Messenger made up something in Our Name,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 45لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ ٤٥ We would have certainly seized him by his right hand,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 46ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ ٤٦ then severed his aorta,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 47فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَـٰجِزِينَ ٤٧ and none of you could have shielded him ?from Us?!
- Al Haqqah Ayah 48وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ٤٨ Indeed, this ?Quran? is a reminder to those mindful ?of Allah?.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 49وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ ٤٩ And We certainly know that some of you will persist in denial,
- Al Haqqah Ayah 50وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ ٥٠ and it will surely be a source of regret for the disbelievers.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 51وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ ٥١ And indeed, this ?Quran? is the absolute truth.
- Al Haqqah Ayah 52فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٥٢ So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Greatest.
الحاقة which is spelled Surah Al Haqqah in english has meaning The Reality is placed at number 69 in the Quran. This surah that contains 52 number of ayah, started on page 566 & ends on page 568 in the Holy Quran.
الحاقة is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 78 in the order of Quran revelation.
