- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 1وَٱلذَّٲرِيَـٰتِ ذَرْوًا ١ By the winds scattering ?dust?,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 2فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقْرًا ٢ and ?the clouds? loaded with rain,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 3فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ يُسْرًا ٣ and ?the ships? gliding with ease,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 4فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمْرًا ٤ and ?the angels? administering affairs by ?Allah’s? command!
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 5إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ ٥ Indeed, what you are promised is true.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 7وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ ٧ ?And? by the heavens in their marvellous design!
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 6وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٲقِعٌ ٦ And the Judgment will certainly come to pass.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 8إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ ٨ Surely you are ?lost? in conflicting views ?regarding the truth?.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 9يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ ٩ Only those ?destined to be? deluded are turned away from it.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 10قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٲصُونَ ١٠ Condemned are the liars—
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 11ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ ١١ those who are ?steeped? in ignorance, totally heedless.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 12يَسْــَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ١٢ They ask ?mockingly?, “When is this Day of Judgment?”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 13يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ ١٣ ?It is? the Day they will be tormented over the Fire.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 14ذُوقُواْ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ١٤ ?They will be told,? “Taste your torment! This is what you sought to hasten.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 15إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ١٥ Indeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and springs,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 18وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ١٨ and pray for forgiveness before dawn.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 17كَانُواْ قَلِيلاً مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ ١٧ they used to sleep only little in the night,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 16ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَـٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَبْلَ ذَٲلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ ١٦ ?joyfully? receiving what their Lord will grant them. Before this ?reward? they were truly good-doers ?in the world?:
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 19وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٲلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ ١٩ And in their wealth there was a rightful share ?fulfilled? for the beggar and the poor.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 20وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ ٢٠ There are ?countless? signs on earth for those with sure faith,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 21وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ ٢١ as there are within yourselves. Can you not see?
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 22وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ ٢٢ In heaven is your sustenance and whatever you are promised.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 23فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ ٢٣ Then by the Lord of heaven and earth! ?All? this is certainly as true as ?the fact that? you can speak!
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 24هَلْ أَتَـٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٲهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ٢٤ Has the story of Abraham’s honoured guests reached you ?O Prophet??
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 25إِذْ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَـٰمًاۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ ٢٥ ?Remember? when they entered his presence and greeted ?him with?, “Peace!” He replied, “Peace ?be upon you?!” ?Then he said to himself,? “?These are? an unfamiliar people.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 26فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ ٢٦ Then he slipped off to his family and brought a fat ?roasted? calf,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 27فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ٢٧ and placed it before them, asking, “Will you not eat?”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 28فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفْۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ ٢٨ ?They did not eat,? so he grew fearful of them. They reassured ?him?, “Do not be afraid,” and gave him good news of a knowledgeable son.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 29فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ ٢٩ Then his wife came forward with a cry, clasping her forehead ?in astonishment?, exclaiming, “?A baby from? a barren, old woman!”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 30قَالُواْ كَذَٲلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٣٠ They replied, “Such has your Lord decreed. He is truly the All-Wise, All-Knowing.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 31۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ٣١ ?Later,? Abraham asked, “What is your mission, O messengers?”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 32قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ ٣٢ They replied, “We have actually been sent to a wicked people,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 33لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ ٣٣ to send upon them stones of ?baked? clay,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 34مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ ٣٤ marked by your Lord for the transgressors.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 35فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٣٥ Then ?before the torment? We evacuated the believers from the city.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 36فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ ٣٦ But We only found one family that had submitted ?to Allah?.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 37وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ ٣٧ And We have left a sign there ?as a lesson? for those who fear the painful punishment.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 38وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ ٣٨ And in ?the story of? Moses ?was another lesson,? when We sent him to Pharaoh with compelling proof,
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 39فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَـٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ٣٩ but Pharaoh was carried away by his power, saying ?of Moses?, “A magician or a madman!”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 40فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ ٤٠ So We seized him and his soldiers, casting them into the sea while he was blameworthy.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 41وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ ٤١ And in ?the story of? ’Âd ?was another lesson,? when We sent against them the devastating wind.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 42مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ ٤٢ There was nothing it came upon that it did not reduce to ashes.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 43وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُواْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ ٤٣ And in ?the story of? Thamûd ?was another lesson,? when they were told, “Enjoy yourselves ?only? for a ?short? while.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 44فَعَتَوْاْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ ٤٤ Still they persisted in defying the commands of their Lord, so they were overtaken by a ?mighty? blast while they were looking on.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 45فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ ٤٥ Then they were not able to rise up, nor were they helped.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 46وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ ٤٦ And the people of Noah ?had also been destroyed? earlier. They were truly a rebellious people.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 47وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ ٤٧ We built the universe with ?great? might, and We are certainly expanding ?it?.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 48وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَـٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَـٰهِدُونَ ٤٨ As for the earth, We spread it out. How superbly did We smooth it out!
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 49وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٩ And We created pairs of all things so perhaps you would be mindful.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 50فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٥٠ So ?proclaim, O Prophet?: “Flee to Allah! I am truly sent by Him with a clear warning to you.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 51وَلَا تَجْعَلُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٥١ And do not set up another god with Allah. I am truly sent by Him with a clear warning to you.”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 52كَذَٲلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ٥٢ Similarly, no messenger came to those before them without being told: “A magician or a madman!”
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 53أَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ ٥٣ Have they passed this ?cliché? down to one another? In fact, they have ?all? been a transgressing people.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 54فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ ٥٤ So ?now? turn away from them ?O Prophet?, for you will not be blamed.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 55وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٥٥ But ?continue to? remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 56وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦ I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 57مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ ٥٧ I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 58إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ ٥٨ Indeed, Allah ?alone? is the Supreme Provider—Lord of all Power, Ever Mighty.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 59فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَـٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ ٥٩ The wrongdoers will certainly have a share ?of the torment? like that of their predecessors. So do not let them ask Me to hasten ?it?.
- Adh Dhariyat Ayah 60فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ ٦٠ Woe then to the disbelievers when they face their Day which they are warned of!
الذاريات which is spelled Surah Adh Dhariyat in english has meaning The Winnowing Winds is placed at number 51 in the Quran. This surah that contains 60 number of ayah, started on page 520 & ends on page 523 in the Holy Quran.
الذاريات is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 67 in the order of Quran revelation.
