- Qaf Ayah 15أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ١٥ Were We incapable of creating ?them? the first time? In fact, they are in doubt about ?their? re-creation.
- Qaf Ayah 16وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ ١٦ Indeed, ?it is? We ?Who? created humankind and ?fully? know what their souls whisper to them, and We are closer to them than ?their? jugular vein.
- Qaf Ayah 17إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ ١٧ As the two recording-angels—?one? sitting to the right, and ?the other to? the left—note ?everything?,
- Qaf Ayah 18مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ ١٨ not a word does a person utter without having a ?vigilant? observer ready ?to write it down?.
- Qaf Ayah 19وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّۖ ذَٲلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ ١٩ ?Ultimately,? with the throes of death will come the truth. This is what you were trying to escape!
- Qaf Ayah 20وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِۚ ذَٲلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ ٢٠ And the Trumpet will be blown. This is the Day ?you were? warned of.
- Qaf Ayah 21وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ ٢١ Each soul will come forth with an angel to drive it and another to testify.
- Qaf Ayah 22لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ ٢٢ ?It will be said to the denier,? “You were totally heedless of this. Now We have lifted this veil of yours, so Today your sight is sharp!”
- Qaf Ayah 23وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَـٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيدٌ ٢٣ And one’s accompanying-angel will say, “Here is the record ready with me.”
- Qaf Ayah 24أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ ٢٤ ?It will be said to both angels,? “Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever,
- Qaf Ayah 25مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ ٢٥ withholder of good, transgressor, and doubter,
- Qaf Ayah 26ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ ٢٦ who set up another god with Allah. So cast them into the severe punishment.”
- Qaf Ayah 27۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَـٰلِۭ بَعِيدٍ ٢٧ One’s ?devilish? associate will say, “Our Lord! I did not make them transgress. Rather, they were far astray ?on their own?.”
- Qaf Ayah 28قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُواْ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ ٢٨ Allah will respond, “Do not dispute in My presence, since I had already given you a warning.
- Qaf Ayah 29مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۟ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ ٢٩ My Word cannot be changed, nor am I unjust to ?My? creation.”
- Qaf Ayah 30يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍ ٣٠ ?Beware of? the Day We will ask Hell, “Are you full ?yet??” And it will respond, “Are there any more?”
- Qaf Ayah 31وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ ٣١ And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far off.
- Qaf Ayah 32هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ ٣٢ ?And it will be said to them,? “This is what you were promised, for whoever ?constantly? turned ?to Allah? and kept up ?His commandments?—
- Qaf Ayah 33مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ ٣٣ who were in awe of the Most Compassionate without seeing ?Him?, and have come with a heart turning ?only to Him?.
- Qaf Ayah 34ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍۖ ذَٲلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ ٣٤ Enter it in peace. This is the Day of eternal life!”
- Qaf Ayah 35لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ ٣٥ There they will have whatever they desire, and with Us is ?even? more.
- Qaf Ayah 36وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُواْ فِى ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ ٣٦ ?Imagine? how many peoples We destroyed before them, who were far mightier than them. Then ?when the torment came,? they ?desperately? sought refuge in the land. ?But? was there any escape?
- Qaf Ayah 37إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ ٣٧ Surely in this is a reminder for whoever has a ?mindful? heart and lends an attentive ear.
- Qaf Ayah 38وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ ٣٨ Indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, and We were not ?even? touched with fatigue.
- Qaf Ayah 39فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ ٣٩ So be patient ?O Prophet? with what they say. And glorify the praises of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset.
- Qaf Ayah 40وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَـٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ ٤٠ And glorify Him during part of the night and after the prayers.
- Qaf Ayah 41وَٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ ٤١ And listen! On the Day the caller will call out from a near place,
- Qaf Ayah 42يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّۚ ذَٲلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ ٤٢ the Day all will hear the ?mighty? Blast in ?all? truth, that will be the Day of emergence ?from the graves?.
- Qaf Ayah 43إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ ٤٣ It is certainly We Who give life and cause death. And to Us is the final return.
- Qaf Ayah 44يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًاۚ ذَٲلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ ٤٤ ?Beware of? the Day the earth will split open, letting them rush forth. That will be an easy gathering for Us.
- Qaf Ayah 45نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ ٤٥ We know best what they say. And you ?O Prophet? are not ?there? to compel them ?to believe?. So remind with the Quran ?only? those who fear My warning.
- Qaf Ayah 1قٓۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْمَجِيدِ ١ Qãf. By the glorious Quran!
- Qaf Ayah 2بَلْ عَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌ ٢ ?All will be resurrected,? yet the deniers are astonished that a warner has come to them from among themselves ?warning of resurrection?. So the disbelievers say, “This is an astonishing thing!
- Qaf Ayah 3أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًاۖ ذَٲلِكَ رَجْعُۢ بَعِيدٌ ٣ ?Will we be returned to life,? when we are dead and reduced to dust? Such a return is impossible.”
- Qaf Ayah 4قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَـٰبٌ حَفِيظُۢ ٤ We certainly know what the earth consumes of them ?after their death?, and with us is a well-preserved Record.
- Qaf Ayah 5بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىٓ أَمْرٍ مَّرِيجٍ ٥ In fact, they reject the truth when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state.
- Qaf Ayah 6أَفَلَمْ يَنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٍ ٦ Have they not then looked at the sky above them: how We built it and adorned it ?with stars?, leaving it flawless?
- Qaf Ayah 7وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَـٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٲسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجِۭ بَهِيجٍ ٧ As for the earth, We spread it out and placed upon it firm mountains, and produced in it every type of pleasant plant—
- Qaf Ayah 8تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ ٨ ?all as? an insight and a reminder to every servant who turns ?to Allah?.
- Qaf Ayah 9وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبَـٰرَكًا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ ٩ And We send down blessed rain from the sky, bringing forth gardens and grains for harvest,
- Qaf Ayah 10وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَـٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ ١٠ and towering palm trees ?loaded? with clustered fruit,
- Qaf Ayah 11رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًاۚ كَذَٲلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ ١١ ?as? a provision for ?Our? servants. And with this ?rain? We revive a lifeless land. Similar is the emergence ?from the graves?.
- Qaf Ayah 12كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ ١٢ Before them, the people of Noah denied ?the truth,? as did the people of the Water-pit, Thamûd,
- Qaf Ayah 13وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَٲنُ لُوطٍ ١٣ ’?d, Pharaoh, the kinfolk of Lot,
- Qaf Ayah 14وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ ١٤ the residents of the Forest, and the people of Tubba’. Each rejected ?their? messenger, so My warning was fulfilled.
ق which is spelled Surah Qaf in english has meaning The letter Qaaf is placed at number 50 in the Quran. This surah that contains 45 number of ayah, started on page 518 & ends on page 520 in the Holy Quran.
ق is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 34 in the order of Quran revelation.
