- Nuh Ayah 1إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ١ Indeed, We sent Noah to his people ?saying to him?, “Warn your people before a painful punishment comes to them.”
- Nuh Ayah 2قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِنِّى لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٢ Noah proclaimed, “O my people! I am truly sent to you with a clear warning:
- Nuh Ayah 3أَنِ ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ ٣ worship Allah ?alone?, fear Him, and obey me.
- Nuh Ayah 4يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ٤ He will forgive your sins, and delay your end until the appointed time. Indeed, when the time set by Allah comes, it cannot be delayed, if only you knew!”
- Nuh Ayah 5قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِى لَيْلاً وَنَهَارًا ٥ He cried, “My Lord! I have surely called my people day and night,
- Nuh Ayah 6فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَآءِىٓ إِلَّا فِرَارًا ٦ but my calls only made them run farther away.
- Nuh Ayah 7وَإِنِّى كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَـٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَٱسْتَغْشَوْاْ ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسْتَكْبَرُواْ ٱسْتِكْبَارًا ٧ And whenever I invite them to be forgiven by You, they press their fingers into their ears, cover themselves with their clothes, persist ?in denial?, and act very arrogantly.
- Nuh Ayah 8ثُمَّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا ٨ Then I certainly called them openly,
- Nuh Ayah 9ثُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا ٩ then I surely preached to them publicly and privately,
- Nuh Ayah 10فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا ١٠ saying, ‘Seek your Lord’s forgiveness, ?for? He is truly Most Forgiving.
- Nuh Ayah 11يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا ١١ He will shower you with abundant rain,
- Nuh Ayah 12وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٲلٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَـٰرًا ١٢ supply you with wealth and children, and give you gardens as well as rivers.
- Nuh Ayah 13مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا ١٣ What is the matter with you that you are not in awe of the Majesty of Allah,
- Nuh Ayah 14وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا ١٤ when He truly created you in stages ?of development??
- Nuh Ayah 15أَلَمْ تَرَوْاْ كَيْفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٲتٍ طِبَاقًا ١٥ Do you not see how Allah created seven heavens, one above the other,
- Nuh Ayah 16وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا ١٦ placing the moon within them as a ?reflected? light, and the sun as a ?radiant? lamp?
- Nuh Ayah 17وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا ١٧ Allah ?alone? caused you to grow from the earth like a plant.
- Nuh Ayah 18ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا ١٨ Then He will return you to it, and then simply bring you forth ?again?.
- Nuh Ayah 19وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا ١٩ And Allah ?alone? spread out the earth for you
- Nuh Ayah 20لِّتَسْلُكُواْ مِنْهَا سُبُلاً فِجَاجًا ٢٠ to walk along its spacious pathways.’”
- Nuh Ayah 21قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِى وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ٢١ ?Eventually,? Noah cried, “My Lord! They have certainly persisted in disobeying me, and followed ?instead? those ?elite? whose ?abundant? wealth and children only increase them in loss,
- Nuh Ayah 22وَمَكَرُواْ مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا ٢٢ and who have devised a tremendous plot,
- Nuh Ayah 23وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا ٢٣ urging ?their followers?, ‘Do not abandon your idols—especially Wadd, Suwâ’, Yaghûth, Ya’ûq, and Nasr.’
- Nuh Ayah 24وَقَدْ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرًاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَـٰلاً ٢٤ Those ?elite? have already led many astray. So ?O Lord?, only allow the wrongdoers to stray farther away.”
- Nuh Ayah 25مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٔـٰتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُواْ فَأُدْخِلُواْ نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارًا ٢٥ So because of their sins, they were drowned, then admitted into the Fire. And they found none to help them against Allah.
- Nuh Ayah 26وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا ٢٦ Noah had prayed, “My Lord! Do not leave a single disbeliever on earth.
- Nuh Ayah 27إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا ٢٧ For if You spare ?any of? them, they will certainly mislead Your servants, and give birth only to ?wicked? sinners, staunch disbelievers.
- Nuh Ayah 28رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٲلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا ٢٨ My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house in faith, and ?all? believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in destruction.”
نوح which is spelled Surah Nuh in english has meaning Noah is placed at number 71 in the Quran. This surah that contains 28 number of ayah, started on page 570 & ends on page 571 in the Holy Quran.
نوح is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 71 in the order of Quran revelation.
