- Al Qiyamah Ayah 1لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ١ I do swear by the Day of Judgment!
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 2وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ ٢ And I do swear by the self-reproaching soul!
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 3أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ٣ Do people think We cannot reassemble their bones?
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 4بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ ٤ Yes ?indeed?! We are ?most? capable of restoring ?even? their very fingertips.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 5بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ ٥ Still people want to deny what is yet to come,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 6يَسْــَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ٦ asking ?mockingly?, “When is this Day of Judgment?”
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 7فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ ٧ But when the sight is stunned,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 8وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ ٨ and the moon is dimmed,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 9وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ ٩ and the sun and the moon are brought together,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 10يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ ١٠ on that Day one will cry, “Where is the escape?”
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 11كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ١١ But no! There will be no refuge.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 12إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ ١٢ On that Day all will end up before your Lord.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 13يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ ١٣ All will then be informed of what they have sent forth and left behind.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 14بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌ ١٤ In fact, people will testify against their own souls,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 15وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ ١٥ despite the excuses they come up with.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 16لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ ١٦ Do not rush your tongue trying to memorize ?a revelation of? the Quran.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 17إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ ١٧ It is certainly upon Us to ?make you? memorize and recite it.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 19ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ ١٩ Then it is surely upon Us to make it clear ?to you?.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 18فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَـٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ ١٨ So once We have recited a revelation ?through Gabriel?, follow its recitation ?closely?.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 20كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ ٢٠ But no! In fact, you love this fleeting world,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 21وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ ٢١ and neglect the Hereafter.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 22وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ ٢٢ On that Day ?some? faces will be bright,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 23إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ ٢٣ looking at their Lord.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 24وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٌ ٢٤ And ?other? faces will be gloomy,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 25تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ ٢٥ anticipating something devastating to befall them.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 26كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ ٢٦ But no! ?Beware of the day? when the soul reaches the collar bone ?as it leaves?,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 27وَقِيلَ مَنْۜ رَاقٍ ٢٧ and it will be said, “Is there any healer ?who can save this life??”
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 30إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ ٣٠ On that day they will be driven to your Lord ?alone?.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 29وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ ٢٩ and ?then? their feet are tied together ?in a shroud?.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 28وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ ٢٨ And the dying person realizes it is ?their? time to depart,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 31فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ ٣١ This denier neither believed nor prayed,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 32وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ٣٢ but persisted in denial and turned away,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 33ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ٣٣ then went to their own people, walking boastfully.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 34أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ ٣٤ Woe to you, and more woe!
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 35ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ ٣٥ Again, woe to you, and even more woe!
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 36أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى ٣٦ Do people think they will be left without purpose?
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 37أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِىٍّ يُمْنَىٰ ٣٧ Were they not ?once? a sperm-drop emitted?
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 38ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ٣٨ Then they became a clinging clot ?of blood?, then He developed and perfected their form,
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 39فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ ٣٩ producing from it both sexes, male and female.
- Al Qiyamah Ayah 40أَلَيْسَ ذَٲلِكَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْــِۧىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ٤٠ Is such ?a Creator? unable to bring the dead back to life?
القيامة which is spelled Surah Al Qiyamah in english has meaning The Resurrection is placed at number 75 in the Quran. This surah that contains 40 number of ayah, started on page 577 & ends on page 578 in the Holy Quran.
القيامة is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 31 in the order of Quran revelation.
