- Al Furqan Ayah 14لَّا تَدْعُواْ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَٲحِدًا وَٱدْعُواْ ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا ١٤ ?They will be told,? “Do not cry only once for destruction, but cry many times over!”
- Al Furqan Ayah 15قُلْ أَذَٲلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءً وَمَصِيرًا ١٥ Say, ?O Prophet,? “Is this better or the Garden of Eternity which the righteous have been promised, as a reward and ?an ultimate? destination?
- Al Furqan Ayah 16لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَـٰلِدِينَۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْــُٔولاً ١٦ There they will have whatever they wish for, forever. That is a promise ?to be sought after?, binding on your Lord.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 17وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّواْ ٱلسَّبِيلَ ١٧ ?Watch for? the Day He will gather them along with what they used to worship besides Allah, and ask ?the objects of worship?, “Was it you who misled these servants of Mine, or did they stray from the Way ?on their own??”
- Al Furqan Ayah 18قَالُواْ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِى لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَـٰكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُواْ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمَۢا بُورًا ١٨ They will say, “Glory be to You! It was not right for ?others like? us to take any lords besides You, but You allowed enjoyment for them and their forefathers ?for so long? that they forgot ?Your? remembrance and became a doomed people.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 19فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًاۚ وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا ١٩ ?The doomed will be told?, “Your gods have clearly denied your claims. So now you can neither ward off ?the punishment? nor get any help.” And whoever of you does wrong, We will make them taste a horrible punishment.
- Al Furqan Ayah 20وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا ٢٠ We never sent any messenger before you ?O Prophet?, who did not eat food and go about in market-places. We have made some of you a trial for others. Will you ?not then? be patient? And your Lord is All-Seeing.
- Al Furqan Ayah 21۞ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَاۗ لَقَدِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُواْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا ٢١ Those who do not expect to meet Us say, “If only the angels were sent down to us, or we could see our Lord!” They have certainly been carried away by their arrogance and have entirely exceeded all limits.
- Al Furqan Ayah 22يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا ٢٢ ?But? on the Day they will see the angels, there will be no good news for the wicked, who will cry, “Keep away! Away ?from us?!”
- Al Furqan Ayah 23وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُواْ مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ هَبَآءً مَّنثُورًا ٢٣ Then We will turn to whatever ?good? deeds they did, reducing them to scattered dust.
- Al Furqan Ayah 24أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلاً ٢٤ ?But? on that Day the residents of Paradise will have the best settlement and the finest place to rest.
- Al Furqan Ayah 25وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلْغَمَـٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلاً ٢٥ ?Watch for? the Day the heavens will burst with clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive ranks.
- Al Furqan Ayah 26ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًا ٢٦ True authority on that Day will belong ?only? to the Most Compassionate. And it will be a hard day for the disbelievers.
- Al Furqan Ayah 27وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلاً ٢٧ And ?beware of? the Day the wrongdoer will bite his nails ?in regret? and say, “Oh! I wish I had followed the Way along with the Messenger!
- Al Furqan Ayah 28يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلاً ٢٨ Woe to me! I wish I had never taken so-and-so as a close friend.
- Al Furqan Ayah 29لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِىۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولاً ٢٩ It was he who truly made me stray from the Reminder after it had reached me.” And Satan has always betrayed humanity.
- Al Furqan Ayah 30وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا ٣٠ The Messenger has cried, “O my Lord! My people have indeed received this Quran with neglect.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 31وَكَذَٲلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا ٣١ Similarly, We made enemies for every prophet from among the wicked, but sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.
- Al Furqan Ayah 32وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً وَٲحِدَةًۚ كَذَٲلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۖ وَرَتَّلْنَـٰهُ تَرْتِيلاً ٣٢ The disbelievers say, “If only the Quran had been sent down to him all at once!” ?We have sent it? as such ?in stages? so We may reassure your heart with it. And We have revealed it at a deliberate pace.
- Al Furqan Ayah 33وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا ٣٣ Whenever they bring you an argument, We come to you with the right refutation and the best explanation.
- Al Furqan Ayah 34ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلاً ٣٤ Those who will be dragged into Hell on their faces will be in the worst place, and are ?now? farthest from the ?Right? Way.
- Al Furqan Ayah 35وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَـٰرُونَ وَزِيرًا ٣٥ We certainly gave Moses the Book and appointed his brother Aaron as his helper.
- Al Furqan Ayah 36فَقُلْنَا ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا ٣٦ We had ordered ?them?, “Go to the people who would deny Our signs.” Then We annihilated the deniers entirely.
- Al Furqan Ayah 37وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُواْ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةًۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا ٣٧ And when the people of Noah rejected the messengers, We drowned them, making them an example to humanity. And We have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers.
- Al Furqan Ayah 38وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَيْنَ ذَٲلِكَ كَثِيرًا ٣٨ Also ?We destroyed? ’?d, Thamûd, and the people of the Water-pit, as well as many peoples in between.
- Al Furqan Ayah 39وَكُلاًّ ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَۖ وَكُلاًّ تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا ٣٩ For each We set forth ?various? lessons, and We ultimately destroyed each.
- Al Furqan Ayah 40وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْاْ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُواْ يَرَوْنَهَاۚ بَلْ كَانُواْ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا ٤٠ They have certainly passed by the city ?of Sodom?, which had been showered with a dreadful rain ?of stones?. Have they not seen its ruins? But they do not expect to be resurrected.
- Al Furqan Ayah 41وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولاً ٤١ When they see you ?O Prophet?, they only make fun of you, ?saying,? “Is this the one that Allah has sent as a messenger?
- Al Furqan Ayah 42إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَاۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلاً ٤٢ He would have almost tricked us away from our gods, had we not been so devoted to them.” ?But? soon they will know, when they face the punishment, who is far astray from the ?Right? Way.
- Al Furqan Ayah 43أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُۥ هَوَٮٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلاً ٤٣ Have you seen ?O Prophet? the one who has taken their own desires as their god? Will you then be a keeper over them?
- Al Furqan Ayah 44أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلاً ٤٤ Or do you think that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle—no, more than that, they are astray from the ?Right? Way!
- Al Furqan Ayah 45أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلاً ٤٥ Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shade—He could have simply made it ?remain? still if He so willed—then We make the sun its guide,
- Al Furqan Ayah 46ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا ٤٦ causing the shade to retreat gradually?
- Al Furqan Ayah 47وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًا ٤٧ He is the One Who has made the night for you as a cover, and ?made? sleep for resting, and the day for rising.
- Al Furqan Ayah 48وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرَۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً طَهُورًا ٤٨ And He is the One Who sends the winds ushering in His mercy, and We send down pure rain from the sky,
- Al Furqan Ayah 49لِّنُحْــِۧىَ بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا وَأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًا ٤٩ giving life to a lifeless land, and providing water for countless animals and humans of Our Own creation.
- Al Furqan Ayah 51وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيرًا ٥١ Had We willed, We could have easily sent a warner to every society.
- Al Furqan Ayah 50وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَـٰهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا ٥٠ We certainly disperse it among them so they may be mindful, but most people persist in ungratefulness.
- Al Furqan Ayah 52فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ وَجَـٰهِدْهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا ٥٢ So do not yield to the disbelievers, but strive diligently against them with this ?Quran?.
- Al Furqan Ayah 53۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا ٥٣ And He is the One Who merges the two bodies of water: one fresh and palatable and the other salty and bitter, placing between them a barrier they cannot cross.
- Al Furqan Ayah 54وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًاۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا ٥٤ And He is the One Who creates human beings from a ?humble? liquid, then establishes for them bonds of kinship and marriage. For your Lord is Most Capable.
- Al Furqan Ayah 55وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْۗ وَكَانَ ٱلْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًا ٥٥ Yet they worship besides Allah what can neither benefit nor harm them. And the disbeliever always collaborates against their Lord.
- Al Furqan Ayah 56وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا ٥٦ And We have sent you ?O Prophet? only as a deliverer of good news and a warner.
- Al Furqan Ayah 57قُلْ مَآ أَسْــَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلاً ٥٧ Say, “I do not ask you for any reward for this ?message?, but whoever wishes, let them pursue the Way to their Lord.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 58وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا ٥٨ Put your trust in the Ever-Living, Who never dies, and glorify His praises. Sufficient is He as All-Aware of the sins of His servants.
- Al Furqan Ayah 59ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِۚ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ فَسْــَٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًا ٥٩ ?He is? the One Who created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. ?He is? the Most Compassionate! Ask ?none other than? the All-Knowledgeable about Himself.
- Al Furqan Ayah 62وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا ٦٢ And He is the One Who causes the day and the night to alternate, ?as a sign? for whoever desires to be mindful or to be grateful.
- Al Furqan Ayah 61تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٲجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا ٦١ Blessed is the One Who has placed constellations in the sky, as well as a ?radiant? lamp and a luminous moon.
- Al Furqan Ayah 60وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُواْ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ قَالُواْ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا ۩ ٦٠ When it is said to them, “Prostrate to the Most Compassionate,” they ask ?in disgust?, “What is ‘the Most Compassionate’? Will we prostrate to whatever you order us to?” And it only drives them farther away.
- Al Furqan Ayah 63وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَـٰمًا ٦٣ The ?true? servants of the Most Compassionate are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the foolish address them ?improperly?, they only respond with peace.
- Al Furqan Ayah 64وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَـٰمًا ٦٤ ?They are? those who spend ?a good portion of? the night, prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord.
- Al Furqan Ayah 65وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا ٦٥ ?They are? those who pray, “Our Lord! Keep the punishment of Hell away from us, for its punishment is indeed unrelenting.
- Al Furqan Ayah 66إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا ٦٦ It is certainly an evil place to settle and reside.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 67وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُواْ لَمْ يُسْرِفُواْ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُواْ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٲلِكَ قَوَامًا ٦٧ ?They are? those who spend neither wastefully nor stingily, but moderately in between.
- Al Furqan Ayah 68وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٲلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا ٦٨ ?They are? those who do not invoke any other god besides Allah, nor take a ?human? life—made sacred by Allah—except with ?legal? right, nor commit fornication. And whoever does ?any of? this will face the penalty.
- Al Furqan Ayah 69يُضَـٰعَفْ لَهُ ٱلْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا ٦٩ Their punishment will be multiplied on the Day of Judgment, and they will remain in it forever, in disgrace.
- Al Furqan Ayah 70إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلاً صَـٰلِحًا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔـاتِهِمْ حَسَنَـٰتٍۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ٧٠ As for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, they are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
- Al Furqan Ayah 71وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًا فَإِنَّهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابًا ٧١ And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah properly.
- Al Furqan Ayah 72وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّواْ كِرَامًا ٧٢ ?They are? those who do not bear false witness, and when they come across falsehood, they pass ?it? by with dignity.
- Al Furqan Ayah 73وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّواْ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا ٧٣ ?They are? those who, when reminded of the revelation of their Lord, do not turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to it.
- Al Furqan Ayah 74وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٲجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا ٧٤ ?They are? those who pray, “Our Lord! Bless us with ?pious? spouses and offspring who will be the joy of our hearts, and make us models for the righteous.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 75أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَـٰمًا ٧٥ It is they who will be rewarded with ?elevated? mansions ?in Paradise? for their perseverance, and will be received with salutations and ?greetings of? peace,
- Al Furqan Ayah 76خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا ٧٦ staying there forever. What an excellent place to settle and reside!
- Al Furqan Ayah 77قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُاْ بِكُمْ رَبِّى لَوْلَا دُعَآؤُكُمْۖ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا ٧٧ Say, ?O Prophet,? “You ?all? would not ?even? matter to my Lord were it not for your faith ?in Him?. But now you ?disbelievers? have denied ?the truth?, so the torment is bound to come.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 1تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا ١ Blessed is the One Who sent down the Standard to His servant, so that he may be a warner to the whole world.
- Al Furqan Ayah 2ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًا ٢ ?Allah is? the One to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, Who has never had ?any? offspring, nor does He have a partner in ?governing? the kingdom. He has created everything, ordaining it precisely.
- Al Furqan Ayah 3وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْــًٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَوٲةً وَلَا نُشُورًا ٣ Yet they have taken besides Him gods who cannot create anything but are themselves created. Nor can they protect or benefit themselves. Nor can they control life, death, or resurrection.
- Al Furqan Ayah 4وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَٮٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَۖ فَقَدْ جَآءُو ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا ٤ The disbelievers say, “This ?Quran? is nothing but a fabrication which he made up with the help of others.” Their claim is totally unjustified and untrue!
- Al Furqan Ayah 5وَقَالُوٓاْ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلاً ٥ And they say, “?These revelations are only? ancient fables which he has had written down, and they are rehearsed to him morning and evening.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 6قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِى يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ٦ Say, ?O Prophet,? “This ?Quran? has been revealed by the One Who knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth. Surely He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 7وَقَالُواْ مَالِ هَـٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِۙ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا ٧ And they say ?mockingly?, “What kind of messenger is this who eats food and goes about in market-places ?for a living?? If only an angel had been sent down with him to be his co-warner,
- Al Furqan Ayah 8أَوْ يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَاۚ وَقَالَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلاً مَّسْحُورًا ٨ or a treasure had been cast down to him, or he had had a garden from which he may eat!” And the wrongdoers say ?to the believers?, “You are only following a bewitched man.”
- Al Furqan Ayah 9ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلاً ٩ See ?O Prophet? how they call you names! So they have gone so ?far? astray that they cannot find the ?Right? Way.
- Al Furqan Ayah 10تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِّن ذَٲلِكَ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورَۢا ١٠ Blessed is the One Who—if He wills—can give you far better than ?all? that: gardens under which rivers flow, and palaces as well.
- Al Furqan Ayah 11بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا ١١ In fact, they deny the Hour. And for the deniers of the Hour, We have prepared a blazing Fire.
- Al Furqan Ayah 12إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُواْ لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا ١٢ Once it sees them from a distance, they will hear it fuming and growling.
- Al Furqan Ayah 13وَإِذَآ أُلْقُواْ مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْاْ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا ١٣ And when they are tossed into a narrow place inside ?Hell?, chained together, then and there they will cry out for ?instant? destruction.
الفرقان which is spelled Surah Al Furqan in english has meaning The Criterion is placed at number 25 in the Quran. This surah that contains 77 number of ayah, started on page 359 & ends on page 366 in the Holy Quran.
الفرقان is part of & given to prophet Muhammad as the number 42 in the order of Quran revelation.
